Social Media Services: What They Are and What I Offer
Many people get confused about the difference between my blogging services and my social media services. Let me explain. When I provide you with blogging services, my focus is on creating the content for your blog and promoting that content. I do use social media services (like Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to promote the blog. However, this differs from being your social media provider. That's because I promote the blog through my own social profiles that are already set up under my name.
When I work as your social media service provider, I create (or update) accounts under your name. I then network through your account to gain you friends on the sites and to promote your business. This may be done in conjunction with my blogging services or as a separate service entirely.
Some of the social media services that I provide include:
-
Setting up an account for you through major social networking sites. The most popular options are Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn but I am familiar with niche social networkin sites as well so we can talk about those choices. If you already have accounts on those sites then I can update them.
-
Maintain your account and network for you. These accounts are only useful if you use them. I provide steady updates to your account, post links, find relevant friends to network with on the site and communicate with others through these sites to keep your social profile active. I can also post deals and news for you as appropriate.
-
Set up an account for you through social bookmarking sites. This means that I help you get started on Digg, StumbleUpon, Mixx, Tip'd and other social bookmarking sites. These are sites where you post links to your work (such as to your blog posts) and then others can vote on them. The more active you are on the site, the better your chances of getting high votes (and support for your work).
I can work with you to develop a plan that fits your unique social media needs.
